POST Proposed Community Budget Hearings
Monday, August 11, 2014 – Thursday, August 14, 2014
In order to gain resident feedback prior to the development of the Proposed Budget, the City hosted Pre-Proposed Community Budget Hearings at various locations throughout the City from May 19th to May 22nd.
Feedback from these hearings provided valuable direction to City Council Representatives and City Officials prior to the preparation of the City’s Proposed Operating and Capital Budget. On Thursday August 7th the City Manager will present the FY2015 Proposed Budget to City Council. The City will host five Post Proposed Community Budget Hearings on Monday, August 11, 2014 to Thursday, August 14, 2014.
All Community Budget Worksessions begin at 6:30PM

Employee Focus Groups
In addition to Community Budget Hearings and the Budget Input Box, the Office of Management and Budget collects feedback from City employees through Employee Focus Groups.
The purpose of these focus groups is to gather feedback and identify employees’ concerns regarding new programs and potential changes. Each of the focus groups is comprised of employees who volunteer to participate, and the sessions are moderated by a professional facilitator who works to ensure each participant is allowed to share their ideas and suggestions.
Additional information will be forthcoming. In the meantime, employees may also use the Budget Input Box to submit their suggestions.
