TARGET THE HEART. RENEW. RECONNECT. REVITALIZE.
What is CCDO?
The Center City Development and Operations Department (CCDO) was created in 2008 to facilitate and initiate the development and redevelopment of neighborhoods, businesses and cultural resources within the Community Revitalization Action Group (CRAG) area to foster thriving neighborhoods, including center city, for the benefit of residents, visitors and businesses.
CCDO is your first point of contact for development in the CRAG target area. Our office will assign a staff liaison to assist you with your project, identify appropriate incentives and guide you through the development process.
Center City Development and Operations Department will (B)be a resource and provide direction to enhance the livability, commerce, infrastructure and prosperity for a vibrant Center City.
How Can CCDO Help?
CCDO promotes and initiates compatible development within the CRAG through the facilitation of the development process and the administration of various incentive programs such as the Center City Housing Incentive Policy (CCHIP) and the Inner City Reinvestment Infill Policy (ICRIP).
For your development within the CRAG, contact our office and we will:
- Assign a staff liaison to assist you with your project
- Identify appropriate incentives including, but not limited to, Tax Abatements, City and Water Impact Fee Waivers and Inner City Incentive Fund Loans.
- Guide you through the development process
Under the direction of Lori Houston, our staff will provide you with guidance from the beginning of your development project until the end.
