SAN ANTONIO (October x, 2017) – Celebrate Día de los Muertos (“Day of the Dead”) at Historic Market Square and La Villita Historic Arts Village on October 28 and 29! The weekend celebrations bring together traditional art and culture, including Día de los Muertos altars, with the best in live music entertainment.

Market Square Car & Custom Bike Show

Saturday, October 7 & Sunday, October 8

The 8th Annual Car & Custom Bike Show is taking place on October 7 & 8 at Market Square.

Día de los Muertos

Friday, October 27 – Sunday, October 29, 12 – 6 p.m.

Come and enjoy the traditional and colorful experience of celebrating Dia de los Muertos the way only Market Square can! The weekend will feature live musical entertainment, food booths and working artist booths. The event will feature a procession by the celebrated Las Monas dance troupe on Saturday and Sunday and other entertainment.

Co-sponsored by the City of San Antonio Center City Development and Operations Department, this annual event brings together traditional art and culture with the best in live music entertainment to create a two-day destination event for the City of San Antonio. Bring the entire family to celebrate and pay tribute to those who have been lost throughout the years. This free event will take place on Saturday, October 28, 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Sunday, October 29, 12 p.m. – 10 p.m. Additional information on this event can be found on www.muertosfest.com or by calling the La Villita office at (210) 207–8614.
