Dick Evans is chairman and CEO of Cullen/Frost Bankers, Inc. (NYSE: CFR) and Frost Bank. He successfully navigated Frost through the financial crisis of 2008, when the bank said “no thanks” to TARP federal bailout funds. Under Evans' leadership, Cullen/Frost has become one of the strongest banks in the U.S., while expanding Frost’s footprint across Texas and adding new lines of business and services that deepen customer relationships. With assets of over $21 billion, Frost is now among the 50 largest banking companies in the country. Evans joined Frost in 1971 and has been CEO for 15 years.
