Urban@Olive Residential Development Opening Celebrated

SAN ANTONIO (March 17, 2017) — District 2 City Councilman Alan Warrick and representatives from Terramark Urban Homes gathered today to celebrate the opening of the new Urban@Olive residential development.

Urban@Olive is a 22-single family housing development located at Burleson and North Olive Street in the Dignowity Hill neighborhood. Urban@Olive broke ground on the project in June 2016. Designed to complement the architectural landscape of the Dignowity Hill neighborhood, each home’s exterior is a modern take on the traditional craftsman style home.

“Urban@Olive is a significant opportunity for homeowners to call District 2 home,” said District 2 City Councilman Alan Warrick. “Urban@Olive is within walking and biking distance to downtown, as well as numerous restaurant and entertainment options including the Hays Street Bridge, Pearl Brewery and the River Walk. I would also like to recognize Terramark Urban Homes for supporting our work on the Dignowity Park Project by Public Space East to transform nearby Dignowity Park. The City of San Antonio is also providing about $40,000 in infrastructure assistance for public improvements related to the site. Our goal is to revitalize the San Antonio Eastside, and I’m proud to say that the Urban@Olive homes are helping us achieve that goal.”

As part of the Center City Housing Incentive Program, the project is receiving more than $268,000 in incentives from the City of San Antonio for creating additional housing within the center city. Incentives include City and SAWS fee waivers as well as a 10-year tax reimbursement grant.

The Urban@Olive community features a private dog park, interior green spaces and low-maintenance living. Metal and exposed wood accents on the exterior pair with concrete floors, open floor plans and modern finishes in the home’s interior. This two-phase development offers four unique floor plans in two or three bedroom configurations. The model home is located at 603 Burleson Street.
