SAN ANTONIO (September 12, 2017) – Councilman Greg Brockhouse will be “Brockwalking” (block walking) the Community Workers Council Neighborhood with Police Chief William McManus today at 5 p.m. They will be taking City Council and SAPD to resident’s doorstep and listening and documenting their concerns. Along with block walking an SAPD SAFFE Unit along with representatives from Code Compliance and Animal Care Services will be patrolling the neighborhood ensuring that all issues are documented to make the neighborhood safer for all.

“I have always said we will put neighborhoods first,” stated Councilman Brockhouse. “The only way we learn is door to door and face to face, putting people first! The #D62U Program is one of the ways my office and I ensure we are listening to residents' concerns and taking action on them.”

This is Councilman Brockhouse’s fourth #D62U event he has conducted in the District. Brockhouse plans on continuing these events throughout the District during his tenure. Brockhouse and his team will be visiting homeowners associations, community groups, neighborhoods, apartment complexes and other areas where there are no formal associations.
