SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 12, 2017) –
Saturday, January 13th at Del Bravo Records Shop (554 Enrique Barrera Parkway (Old Hwy 90) at 2pm, Councilman Greg Brockhouse is partnering with the Office of Historic Preservation to remember the Old Hwy 90 corridor with a storytelling event. They will be documenting residents accounts of the history of this corridor. Along with storytelling, they are asking the residents to bring historical photos so they can create a timeline to help preserve this piece of history.

“Old Highway 90 has been a part of our San Antonio story for almost a century and I want to hear your stories so we can save the culture of Old Highway 90 for generations to come. Your stories matter and now is your time to show your OH90 pride!” stated Councilman Brockhouse.

Along with the storytelling, the Department of Arts & Culture and Planning Department will be on site to showcase their department’s correlation to this corridor. The San Antonio Street Rods and The Push Rods Car Clubs will bring some classic cars to showcase. At 2:15pm there will be brief remarks from Councilman Brockhouse along with Shanon Miller from the Office of Historic Preservation. Del Bravo Records will be recognized as a Legacy Business through a new Office of Historic Preservation registry program honoring San Antonio’s legendary businesses.
