Councilwoman Ivy R. Taylor invites residents to the grand opening of the Camelot Elementary SPARK Park. The event will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at Camelot Elementary School, 7410 Ray Bon Dr., at 3:30 p.m.
“I am excited about this project and the difference it will make in the lives of residents,” said District 2 Councilwoman Taylor. “The SPARK Park is one crucial step towards ensuring that students and families in this area have access to recreational facilities that can facilitate a healthy, active lifestyle.”
The Camelot Elementary SPARK Park is the first of its kind in North East Independent School District (NEISD). The purpose of the SPARK Park Program is to improve school playgrounds by turning them into fitness parks the entire community can enjoy.
