District 6 hosted their 4th Back to School and School Supply Initiative. This year we were able to provide over 1200 backpacks to needy students throughout the district. The students ranged from Pre-K to High School and included the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Catholic Charities as well as the Children's Shelter. Along with free food various organizations partnered to provide free services including free haircuts. Several mascots entertained the attendees throughout the event.

Partners assisting included: Division Laundry & Cleaners, First Mark Credit Union, Nationwide Insurance, Nankani LLC, Rios Salons, San Antonio Police Officers Association, San Antonio Fire Fighters Association, Toyota, HEB, SACU, VFW 9174, Castleridge Mortuary, EPI, Ortiz Pharmacy, Target, Texas Towing, Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, Selrico Services Inc., Monterrey Iron & Metal, Christus Santa Rosa, Intech Southwest, UPS, Warren High School, Brandeis High School, SAWS, CPS, Parks & Recreation, Food Bank, Cha Cha's Restaurant, SA Library, Incarnate Word College, St. Philips College, Animal Care Services, Code Enforcement, Cable Westwood NA and KB Homes.
