Welcome to the Diversity and Inclusion Office (DIO)
Cultivate an environment of respect and inclusiveness among the diverse populations of San Antonio as a means to advance the growth, stability, and strength of the community.
Through community outreach and enforcement of the Non-Discrimination Ordinance (NDO), DIO helps ensure a diverse and inclusive San Antonio. DIO participates in city-wide events and discussions to raise awareness on the significance of diversity and inclusion.
In addition, the office leads training sessions for employers and organizations to learn about the NDO, the discrimination complaint process, and anti-discrimination practices. DIO is the central office for receiving discrimination complaints, and collaborates with relevant City Departments to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
