After a Complaint is Submitted
If you apply online, you will receive a confirmation email with a case number. Keep this case number for your records.
DIO will verify that the complaint qualifies as a discrimination complaint as defined by the Non-Discrimination Ordinance. Your verified discrimination complaint will be forwarded to the appropriate City Department for an investigation. If the complaint does not qualify, you will be contacted by DIO within 3 business days of submitting the complaint and, where possible, provided with further resources to resolve the complaint.
