SAN ANTONIO (Aug. 11, 2014) – In order to assist families prepare for the back-to-school rush, the Office of the City Clerk will be open on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 to provide Birth Certificates and Immunization Records to families. The Vital Records Office is located at 719 S. Santa Rosa and will be open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on that day.
Birth Certificates will be available for individuals born in the State of Texas and Immunization Records for immunizations administered in Bexar County. The cost for Birth Certificates is $23 each and Immunization Records are $5 each.
Eligible applicants include: self, mother, father, brother, sister, child, spouse, grandparents, step-parents or siblings, legal guardian or representative. All applicants must have a valid photo ID and be able to prove their relationship.
As always, the Office of the City Clerk Vital Records Office serves the public by providing other services such as issuing death records that occur in Bexar County. The Vital Records Office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is located next to Café College. Free parking is available.
