The City of San Antonio is accepting applications for four commissioners for the City’s Urban Renewal Agency, doing business as the Office of Urban Redevelopment (OUR SA). The mission of the agency is to prevent neighborhood deterioration; promote home ownership; and help create sustainable communities. The board’s responsibility is to oversee the urban renewal activities of OUR SA and the non-profit San Antonio Affordable Housing Inc. (SAAH) as it relates to the revitalization of residential and commercial real estate within the City of San Antonio.

by selecting “Apply for Boards and Commissions.” The positions will remain open until filled. Individuals interested in the positions must be available to serve a two-year term.
The ideal candidate should possess a wide range of real estate experience including development, marketing, and planning experience. Other valuable experiences can include architecture, law, banking, community service, as well as participation in non-profit activities. By statute, the candidate must be a resident of the City of San Antonio and a real property owner.
