With the closure of three City of San Antonio Community Link Service Centers due to under utilization, the City encourages residents to make use of the two existing centers and various City departments for City services.
Effective Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, the Community Link Service Centers at City Base, 3154 S.E. Military Drive, Oak Ridge, 11220 Perrin-Beitel Rd., and South Park Mall, 2310 S.W. Military Drive, will no longer be available.
San Antonio residents seeking to connect with City staff for various City services are encouraged to do so at the Las Palmas Shopping Center, 803 Castroville Rd, and the Valley View Shopping Center, 8523 Blanco Rd. Both locations are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A full menu of City services will continue to be offered, including: acquiring birth/death certificates, immunization records, police reports, garage sale permits; making City park reservations; purchasing building permits and VIA bus passes; and payments of traffic and parking tickets. An on-site judge is also available at the Valley View community link center to hear City-related traffic citations.
In addition to the Community Link Service Centers, residents can attain assistance at Vital Records, 719 S. Santa Rosa, for birth/death certificates and immunization records; at Development Services, 1901 S. Alamo, for building and garage sale permits; and Municipal Courts, 401 S. Frio, for traffic and parking tickets.
Residents can also request a City service by visiting the City's Customer Service site or by calling the City's customer service line at 3-1-1 between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.
