The City of San Antonio is proud to announce that the mobile food trucks that are part of the pilot program have new and easily-accessible locations in downtown San Antonio. The City of San Antonio in collaboration with the mobile food truck vendors, has updated its Mobile Food Truck Vending Pilot Program by moving to new locations in the downtown area.
Food trucks will be located at Main Plaza on Monday and Thursday; Soledad (Weston Center) on Wednesday; and at Travis Park on Tuesday and Friday. The food trucks will be serving lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For a complete schedule of food truck vending options, visit the Downtown Operations website. Check back often for an updated list - as more vendors are added to the program.
Several of the mobile food trucks will be in Travis Park on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. for Downtown Tuesday. Downtown Tuesdays are when visitors can park for free after 5 p.m. at any City-owned parking lots and meters.
The pilot program runs May 1 - Oct. 31, 2012.
Mobile food truck vendors interested in participating in the program can access an application for the pilot program, and permits are available on a limited basis. The permit cost is $225 for the pilot program. Interested vendors can download an application and the complete rules and regulations for the program at the Downtown Operations website.
