Today the Fourth Court of Appeals, in a 3 - 0 opinion, cleared the way for the City of San Antonio to begin the drainage improvement project along the Broadway/Hildebrand corridor. The court found that the City kept its promise to the voters to alleviate flooding in the flood prone corridor.
"What the City promised to do is what the City plans to do; solve the flooding problem that has beleaguered that area for generations," said City Attorney Michael Bernard. The opinion was written by Justice Sandee Bryan Marion.
