In November, San Antonio voters approved a 1/8-cent sales tax that will be used to support the Pre-K 4 SA initiative, which, among other things, will provide high-quality, full-day Pre-K for eligible four-year olds in San Antonio. In preparation of the program’s first year of implementation this fall, the City is now actively hiring more than 100 positions.
Available positions include master teacher, teacher, teacher assistant, nurse, and a variety of other professional and administrative support staff.
The City of San Antonio’s Human Resources Department will be hosting a series of Pre-K 4 SA job fairs around town. At these job fairs, individuals interested in joining the Pre-K 4 SA team will have the opportunity to learn more about the Pre-K 4 SA initiative to include applying for the available positions, obtaining information on the City’s health and wellness benefits, compensation, and much more.
