Report on Internal Controls (Management Letter)
The Report on Internal Controls (Management Letter) is a required communication imposed by auditing standards generally accepted in the Unites States of America (U.S. GAAS) to the City’s Audit Committee and management documenting levels of control deficiencies identified by the Independent External Auditors during the audit of the City’s CAFR. This report includes both the findings identified by the auditors as well as management's responses and enables the public to gain an understanding of the City’s financial controls.
