A 30 day public comment period will be initiated on Monday, May 15, 2017 and a Public Hearing will take place beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2017 in the City Council Chamber, Municipal Plaza Building.
These notices shall satisfy two separate but related procedural requirements for activities to be undertaken by the City of San Antonio.
The City of San Antonio’s, Department of Planning and Community Development is requesting applications from real estate developers that are seeking 2017 Housing Tax Credits from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for projects located within the boundaries of the City of San Antonio.
The City of San Antonio’s Department of Planning and Community Development has completed the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the period of October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016. The CAPER reports on the accomplishments of each Annual Action Plan. It provides a concise reference to compare anticipated work with actual performance for San Antonio residents, local officials and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The CAPER reports on the use of Entitlement Funds which include the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), the Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG) and the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) during the 2015-2016 Program Year.
This is to give notice that the City of San Antonio under 24 CFR Part 58 has determined that the following proposed action to be funded under United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) is located in the 100-year floodplain and within two wetlands, and City of San Antonio will be identifying and evaluating practicable alternatives to locating the action in the floodplain and wetlands and the potential impacts on the floodplain and wetlands from the proposed action, as required by Executive Order 11988, in accordance with HUD regulations at 24 CFR 55.20 Subpart C Procedures for Making Determinations on Floodplain Management and Protection of Wetlands.
A 30 day public comment period will be initiated on Monday, August 29, 2016 and a Public Hearing will take place beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2016 in the City Council Chamber, Municipal Plaza Building. This will be a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) required city-wide public hearing for a substantial amendment to the City’s FY 2016 Consolidated Annual Action Plan/Budget to authorize a reprogramming action in an amount not to exceed $484,400 in HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funding from a Multi-Family Rental Housing Development to a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Single-Family New Construction project called Lenwood Heights.
The City of San Antonio (the City) has developed this RFA in order to provide Resolutions of Support or No Objection for multi-family rental housing development projects seeking competitive housing tax credits with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA).
