There is a broad selection of adult and juvenile audiobooks. Cody also has an extensive collection of adult and juvenile videos including classic movies, documentaries, and educational videos, as well as, popular entertainment videos. Music CDs and DVDs have been added to the collection. Only Children's magazines circulated. FACILITY SPECIAL DONATIONS
HISTORY Renovation of Cody Branch, under 1989 bond election funding, began in May of 1998 and the branch was re-opened on August 23, 1999. Additional land for renovation was donated again by the Northside School District. The branch was expanded over 3,000 square feet with a new meeting room and study room added and general renovation of the branch with a new roof and expanded HVAC system. Original architect: Humberto Saldaña & Associates Square footage: of the building: 13,617COMMUNITY COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHTS The Cody Branch Library serves schools in the Northside School District and in the Northeast School District.
