News Release: Brook Hollow Branch Library Closed for Renovations

Your 1999 and 2003 Bond Funds at Work
On Monday, June 6, 2005, the Brook Hollow Branch Library, 530 Heimer Road, will close for renovations. Current construction schedule estimates are that the branch will remain closed until November.

A small bookmobile will be stationed in the branch parking lot to provide limited check-out and return service. The bookmobile will stock a popular browsing collection, consisting of new and popular fiction, adult and juvenile paperbacks, children’s storybooks (easy readers), and DVDs and videos. The Brook Hollow bookmobile will no longer be on site starting Monday, December 5, 2005.

Because of the branch closing, holds requests cannot be sent to Brook Hollow. The book drop will be out of service during the construction period. For book drop, holds deliveries and other library services, the branch libraries nearest to Brook Hollow are:
