The Housing Policy and Programs Division operates programs and services related to homebuyer assistance, home repair, lead hazard abatement, and small business storefront improvement in targeted areas.

The Division also provides policy analysis to the NHSD Director to facilitate the creation of additional homeownership and rental housing that is affordable for working families, and the preservation of existing housing in San Antonio.

rEQUEST FOR aPPLICATION: muLTIFAMILY RENTAL HOUSING DEVELOPMENT RESOLUTIONS OF SUPPORT OR NO OBJECTION

The City of San Antonio’s Neighborhood and Housing Services Department is requesting applications from real estate developers that are seeking 2018 Housing Tax Credits from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for projects located within the boundaries of the City of San Antonio.  Successful applicants will receive, from the City, either a Resolution of Support or a Resolution of No Objection for multifamily rental housing development projects seeking competitive TDHCA housing tax credits.

RFA Release Date: Friday, December 15, 2017
Final Questions Accepted: Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
Application Due: Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
