(San Antonio, TX – July 3, 2017) The Arneson River Theatre will be bustling with the song and dance of San Antonio’s unique cultural heritage on Wednesday and Thursday nights, July 5-20. Enjoy the drama of traditional folkloric numbers, passionate vocals, outstanding live music and high-energy contemporary dance routines. ¡BRAVO! features the Parks and Recreation Department’s Fandango and Alamotion Dance Troupes accompanied by the City’s youth band Take Note.

Time: 7pm doors open, 8pm performance begins
¡BRAVO! is one of the best entertainment values in town for both tourists and locals alike. General admission is free; however, donations are always appreciated. Doors open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. performance. Proceeds from donations benefit youth participating in the Parks and Recreation Department’s cultural programs. The Fandango and Alamotion Dance Troupes are composed of young dancers who have the opportunity to learn a variety of choreography and genres such as ballet, jazz, tap, Mexican Folklorico and Flameno dances. Take Note is a pre-professional music ensemble for youth who have a desire to pursue music and are introduced to a variety of styles of music such as pop, rock, jazz and blues. The Parks and Recreation dance troupes and band perform at a variety of events across the City throughout the year.
