The City Design Center is encourages quality design in the built environment of San Antonio as a distinctive global city through the design standards and guidelines.

The Community Reinvestment unit oversees City strategies to improve target neighborhoods and communities through the RenewSA program and Tax Increment Financing (TIF).

GMA administers and monitors federal funds allocated to the City of San Antonio by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
