Mobile Food Vending
Effective October 1, 2015

A permit fee of $300.00 (plus a 3% surcharge) will be assessed for all mobile food vending units.

The San Antonio Fire Department requires mobile food vendors to attain a fire inspection when the following criteria are met:

  1. Cooking and/or heating are conducted in the unit.
  2. A generator is used in association with the unit.

Mobile food vending inspections are conducted Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
