There is no charge for a single copy of a Fire Incident Report. Fees may apply for multiple copies. You will be advised of any costs prior to creation of the reports.

You may pre-order the report by calling the SAFD Records Management Division at (210) 207-4974 / (210)-207-4975 between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Central Standard Time (CST).
Have the following information ready:
Reports can be picked up at the SAFD Headquarters building between 9:00AM and 4:00PM CST at the Fire Department Records window on the first floor. Directions to SAFD Headquarters from Google.
If you are not the patient listed on the report, you will also need to provide a copy of a valid “Power of Attorney”, or the Death Certificate if the patient is deceased.
All checks should be made payable to the City of San Antonio Fire Department.

The fees for duplicating and preparing records of the emergency medical services division of the fire department shall be that amount authorized to be charged by the provisions of Chapter 552 of the Texas Code.

The EMS Division’s Medical Intensive Care Ambulances are supplied with state-of-the-art equipment and are essentially an emergency room on wheels. An established city ordinance requires EMS services be billed directly to the patient. This ordinance helps to ensure the availability of special services, such as EMS, by making them self-sustaining.
