ROBBERY TASK FORCE UNIT |

The Robbery Task Force Unit (RTFU) is directed by
Lt. Carthel Williams , and includes a staff of two sergeants and
21 detectives. The RTFU is responsible for the follow-up investigation
and the filing of cases with the District Attorney's Office on all Robberies and
Aggravated Robberies that occur within the San Antonio City limits.
The RTFU staff members are committed to proactive
and non-traditional strategies that have become necessary to prevent
these violent crimes. RTFU detectives respond to all robberies
in-progress during their duty hours, and take ownership of the case from
the very beginning. They also operate in a covert capacity when
necessary.

a week.
