What Is SCAM-NET?

SCAM-NET is a service maintained by the San Antonio Police Department, in cooperation with the Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG), that alerts Law Enforcement Agencies within the 12-county AACOG area of current and on-going frauds, scams and con-games, particularly those targeted at senior citizens. Anyone knowing of current scams can e-mail details to SCAM-NET at SAPD, and detectives will immediately post verifiable scams on this web page. Law enforcement agencies are especially encouraged to use this opportunity to exchange information almost instantly.
