Man’s best friend can discover a ‘pawsitively’ perfect paradise designed just for them at what will soon be a growing number of dog parks managed by the City of San Antonio’s Parks and Recreation Department.

The City dedicated one and a half acres for the first ever dog park at Pearsall Park, 4700 Old Pearsall Road. It is the only park in San Antonio where dogs can run off-leash and includes these features:

Paw Fire hydrants
Paw Just above-ground water fountains
Paw Play features (for four-legged friends)
Paw Picnic tables

Park Hours: 5 a.m. – 11 p.m. (everyday)

All dogs visiting the park must be properly licensed, innoculated and healthy and should wear collars and ID tags at all times.
