Man’s best friend can discover a ‘pawsitively’ perfect paradise designed just for them at what will soon be a growing number of dog parks managed by the City of San Antonio’s Parks and Recreation Department.
The City now offers our canine companions two parks for play.
The first ever dog park,
Pearsall Park, is
located at 4700 Old Pearsall Road
and the
McAllister Dog Park
is located at 13102 Jones-Maltsberger.
The parks are the only two of their kind in San Antonio where dogs can run off-leash and include these features:
Fire hydrants
Just above-ground water fountains
Play features (for four-legged friends)
Picnic tables
Park Hours: 5 a.m. – 11 p.m. (everyday)
All dogs visiting the park must be properly licensed, inoculated and healthy and should wear collars and ID tags at all times.
