Whether you own a dog or cat, it is every pet owner’s obligation to provide our pets with proper vaccinations or shots--beginning with a series of puppy and kitten shots and then regular boosters throughout their adulthood. Given the community’s low vaccination rate, San Antonio tends to see an increased pet disease rate. This is especially true amongst animals that are brought into shelters or pets that are allowed to roam.
Animal Care Services offers regular low cost vaccination clinics through our veterinary partner Petshotz. All your pet’s necessary shots are available at these weekly clinics as well as flea/tick medications, heartworm preventative and microchips. Cash and Credit cards only please. Clinics are generally held 2pm-4pm every Monday.
Check out upcoming clinics on our events calendar.

Not only can your pet’s doctor provide your pet with wellness checkups and any needed medical care, vets can also be an excellent information resource for pet owners experiencing difficulties with pet related behavioral and training issues.
