The Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza music festival attracts thousands of
fans to the Alamo City for what is the largest and longest running
Latin music event of its kind in Texas.
Included is a mariachi-inspired art exhibit, student mariachi serenades
on the River Walk, workshops, mariachi group and vocal competitions
and a concert featuring the world renowned Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan.
