TERMINAL PARKING ROADWAY
Terminals B & C
Timeline:B completion in 2010
C on hold until 2012 when a construction timeline will be evaluated.
Description: Passengers at San Antonio International Airport will utilize two new terminal facilities in the future. Terminal B is an 8-gate facility that is being constructed directly between the existing structures, Terminals One & Two. Once, completed Terminal B will serve as a replacement facility for Terminal Two, which is slated for demolition in 2011. Terminal C will be constructed to the West of the Terminal Two footprint. Initially it will house five gates but is designed to accommodate eleven gates should passenger growth warrant.
Long-term Garage
Timeline: COMPLETED
Description: In order to better accommodate our customers, San Antonio International Airport has constructed a new 2,800 space long-term parking garage. The new facility essentially wraps around the Southwest corner of the existing long-term garage and like the previous structure, the new garage offers drivers five levels of parking from which to choose. 1,200 spaces were opened to the public in December of 2007. The remaining 1,600 were opened in July of 2008. The new garage had brought the total parking inventory at SAT up to 9,000 spaces.

Two-tier Roadway
Timeline: May 2008 - July 2010
Description: This project calls for a two-tier roadway system to be extended from Terminal 1 to serve customers in the future Terminals B and C. At the present time, the existing roadway offers bi-level options to only those customers using Terminal One. At this facility, the upper-level is used for arriving passenger drop-off, while the lower-level is used for arriving passenger pick-up. Once the project is completed however, the two-tier roadway system will be available no matter what terminal facility passengers happen to be using.
