"Disaster Drill" As required by the Federal Aviation Administration, every three years a disaster drill exercise is conducted at San Antonio International Airport. The goal of these exercises is to find out where improvements can be made in disaster preparedness. On March 18, 2005 dozens of people gathered at the San Antonio International Airport for the latest full-scale exercise. "Museum" Located at 8406 Cadmus Street near Stinson Municipal Airport, the Texas Air Museum offers an in-depth look at the rich aviation history offered here in San Antonio. "United Nonstop" On April 3, 2005 ?United Airlines? started its nonstop service between San Antonio and San Francisco. To mark the big occasion employees with ?United? threw a party for all the passengers who had booked a seat on that inaugural flight. The daily flight now connects two of the most popular tourist destinations in the U.S. and offers San Antonians a convenient gateway to the Far East.
