Dial-A-Trailer

Dial-A-Trailer allows neighborhoods the opportunity to schedule and reserve a garbage truck on a Saturday to be used for the disposal of brush and bulky items.

Availability & Scheduling

Four Dial-A-Trailers are currently available per Saturday. A truck or container is stationed at a site on a designated Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Only one unit per clean-up will be dispatched. Please consider three preferred Saturday dates when requesting this service as desired dates may already be committed. Organizations are limited to two Dial-A-Trailer events per calendar year. Events may not be scheduled on consecutive Saturdays. Only requests within the San Antonio city limits can be served.

Other Recycling Alternatives

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the two brush and one bulky-item collections provided annually by the city. If residents require curbside pickup between these collection cycles, they can request an out-of-cycle collection available for a fee based on the size of the load collected. Residents can also dispose of unwanted materials by bringing them to a Free Landfill Day event held on four Saturdays throughout the year, approximately three months apart.
