Innovation & Reform

Innovation & Reform staff are responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of operations City-wide, with priority areas identified by the City Manager. Staff partners with client departments to provide consulting services through the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of public and private sector best practice innovations. In addition, they manage high quality internal and external reviews to improve accountability and service delivery.

Current Projects

1. Develop project scope and objectives with Departmental input

2. Conduct research to identify possible solutions, including:
    
• Staff interviews
     • Peer city survey
     • Business process observations and documentation
     • On site visits to appropriate facilities
     • Applicable performance measure or other data review

3. Provide Department with Draft Report and Recommendations and obtain feedback

4. Provide Department with Final Report and Recommendations
