The project consists of 211 market rate housing units and includes $624,078 in public improvements. The project commenced construction in November 2010 and will be open in spring 2012. ButterKrust Redevelopment - The ButterKrust Redevelopment is a $23 million redevelopment of the ButterKrust Bakery located in District 2. The project is expected to office 250 employees of which 125 are a result of the relocation of the C.H. Guenther Headquarters. The project includes approximately $1,511,150 in public improvements. Construction commenced on the project in January 2011 and is set to open in January 2012. On December 9, 2010 City Council authorized the following: Fee waivers in the amount of $220,000; and Economic Development Grant in the amount of $2,468,150. |

The project includes 11,700 square feet of commercial space and approximately $294,262 in public improvements. The project will commence construction in fall 2011 and will open in early 2013. Pearl Parkway North and South - The Pearl Parkway North and South is a $35 million mixed-use development consisting of residential and retail space in the Pearl Brewery located in District 2. The project consists of 82 market rate housing units, 42,581 square feet of ground floor retail space, and 44,245 square feet of office space on the two floors above. The project will add 221 office jobs and 229 restaurant and retail jobs. Construction will commence on the project in fall 2011 and will open in spring 2013. On April 7, 2011 City Council authorized the following: Fee waivers in the amount of $461,890; and Economic Development Grant in the amount of $3,107,289. |

Camden Medical Center - The Camden Medical Center is a $5.7 million investment with 22,000 square feet of medical office space located in District 1. The medical office will provide outpatient diagnostic and treatment services as well as a state of the art research facility. The medical center will retain 45 jobs and create 40 new jobs in the center city. On June 9, 2011 City Council authorized the following: Fee waivers in the amount of $28,406.36; Economic Development Grant in the amount of $433,973.46; and 10-year 100% Tax Abatement valued at $309,802 planned investment. |
