The five members of the CSMA Board of Adjustments (BOA), appointed by the CSMA Board, must be residents within the City South boundaries. CSMA BOA members hear cases regarding variances and appeals to zoning regulations and Unified Development Code.

City South Management Authority Board of Adjustment Openings

The City South Management Authority Board is accepting applications for members. To qualify, a person must reside within the CSMA boundaries, to serve on the City South Management Authority Board of Adjustment.

City South Management Authority Board of Adjustment

Term of Office: two (2) years
Duties and Responsibilities: make exemptions to the terms of the zoning regulations and UDC, in harmony with its general purpose and intent

Powers:
A. To hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is an error in any order, requirement, decision, or determination, made by a City of San Antonio administrative official in the enforcement of the CSMA zoning regulations.

B. To authorize, upon appeal in special cases, such variances from the terms of the CSMA zoning regulations as will not be contrary to the public interest, where, owing to such special conditions, the literal enforcement of the provisions of the CSMA zoning regulations shall be substantially preserved.


Meetings are called as needed, when there is a case to be heard.

To apply, please fill out to the CSMA Board of Adjustment application form; applicants need to reside in the City South Management Authority area.
