NEIGHBORHOOD BLUE CARD PROGRAM

The neighborhood blue card program enables neighborhood associations to patrol their areas for code violations and inform residents of those violations without reporting them to the Code Compliance Division.  The resident then has 10 days to correct the violation before it is reported to the Code Compliance Division.

HOW DO I KNOW IF A VIOLATION OF CITY CODE EXISTS ON THE PROPERTY?
A brief listing of City codes are listed on the Enforcement codes page of this website. If you are unsure if a violation may exist, please call in the address of the premise to the City Customer Service Office at 311 for an investigation.

WHO CAN USE THIS PROGRAM?
The program is intended to be used by neighborhood associations who are interested in ensuring that their area is maintained in a clean and safe condition. Approximately 10,000 cards are distributed to neighborhood associations per year.  Neighborhood associations are provided the  program information at meetings and workshops conducted by the Code Compliance Division.
