With guidance from the City Council and City Manager's Office, our department oversees an array of programs and services designed to help residents achieve self-sufficiency, strengthen families, improve nutritional/wellness services, educational/literacy services, child care services, and financial empowerment programs to youth, working families, adults and seniors.  Our department also partners with community and social service entities to maximize the services and resources available to the community.
