Provides elderly persons, 60 years and older, and spouses, in Bexar County, with a nutritionally balanced noon meal in a congregate setting with supportive services consisting of:  
          Outreach activities Health & Welfare Counseling
          Transportation Nutrition Education
          Companionship Computer Classes
          Health Screenings Exercise techniques
          Shopping  Assistance Information & Referral
          Recreational Activities Arts and Crafts
          Competitive Games

The CNP is funded by the City and the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) through the Alamo Area council of Governments (AACOG), and currently offered at 76 senior nutrition centers in San Antonio and Bexar County. The majority of the Centers operate Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. All services are free of charge, however, contributions are encouraged.
