The Youth Services Division of the Department of Community Initiatives provides adolescents 8 to 16 years opportunities to increase their personal assets through youth development activities. It also provides intervention services to those young people entering the juvenile justice system designed to prevent further involvement.
The three goals of Youth Services are:
- To provide young people with opportunities to increase their development assets
- To prevent young people from entering the juvenile justice system
- To intervene in the lives of young people entering the juvenile justice system

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Resident of the City of San Antonio
- 8-16 years of age
