Named after a former San Antonio Mayor, the Lila Cockrell Theatre is located on the east bank of the famous Riverwalk at the Convention Center Complex. Although it is designed for performing arts such as ballet, symphony, and drama, it is also ideal for large general assemblies with multi-media presentations.

Seating is divided among three levels with a total of 2,521 seats. Wider than average space between rows and plush theatre seating create a more comfortable auditorium. A large 65 foot by 55 foot stage proportion, and easy accessibility provides flexibility in staging and audio visual presentations.
