One of Councilman Clamp’s major goals is the creation and implementation of the proposed San Antonio Street Endowment Fund. This is a long-term investment fund that will use the interest and earnings to fund maintenance for our city’s infrastructure – streets, drainage, and alleys. This fund will perpetually grow, as it will reinvest a percentage of the fund earnings back into the fund. In addition, this fund will complement the budget’s current operational spending plan. Other goals include revitalization of the Perrin-Beitel corridor, providing a voice on the financial stewardship of the city’s resources, and maintaining and improving our public safety forces.
