On September 9, 2011, Councilman Lopez had the first Wall of Honor Ceremony located at the newly opened Alicia Trevino Lopez Senior One Stop C enter. Honorees were nominated by members of the District 6 community and selected by Councilman Lopez. The Wall of Honor tradition will continue by yearly honoring a senior that is an active participant in the Senior Center as well as in the District 6 Community.
