ASSIGNMENT
OF WORK SITE BY CITY PARKS
AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
1.
The Department will take into consideration client residence address, transportation
method, number of clients already assigned to a particular location, staffing capabilities
of the work sites, work schedules of work sites, and other pertinent factors in placement
of a client.
2.
The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to:
a.
place a client where he/she is needed, even if it is not the client’s
choice in placement location;
b. reject a client who is not cooperative in the placement process.
3.
The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to:
a.
reject a client who has not contacted the coordination office within sixty days of
referral from agency;
b.
reject a client who is not cooperative with work site supervisors or who refuses to
perform tasks as assigned.
4. Complete information regarding the rejection will be provided
in writing to the referring agency as soon as possible and not later than two working days
after the decision to reject a client.
