This segment features 4.25 miles of multi-use recreational trail with aspalt and concrete surfaces as well as natural surface off-shoot trails. The scenic route includes Earl Scott Pond and features a connection to Bamberger Nature Park and O.P. Schnabel Park. It can also be accessed from Leon Vista Park, site of the Park Police substation and at the Mainland trailhead on the Mainland cul-de-sac. Parking is available at all four locations.
