Board of Adjustment

The Board of Adjustment is composed of eleven regular members and four alternate members. The terms of office are for two year staggered terms, with members receiving $20.00 per meeting.

The Board hears and rules on appeals from enforcement of and special exceptions to the Zoning Ordinance, and authorizes variances from that zoning ordinance when not contrary to the public interest. Meetings are held on the first and third Mondays of each month beginning at 1:00 P.M. in the Development and Business Services Center Board Room 1st Floor, 1901 South Alamo. Meeting duration is usually three to four hours. Special meetings are called as needed.
