The Combination Inspection team is integrated to conduct more holistically by inspecting multiple trade inspections in one visit. The combined inspection approach is a significantly more efficient use of manpower and delivers better customer service to the residential building community. San Antonio City Council adopted the 2012 International Residential Code (IRC) with local amendments, on October 1, 2011, and become effective March 1, 2012. The IRC is available for purchase through the International Code Council (ICC) and various book stores, both locally and on-line. Chief Building Inspector Sylvia Cortez is a certified Building Inspector, Commercial Building Inspector, Residential Building Inspector and Commercial Plans Examiner with the International Code Council (ICC). Additionally, Chief Cortez achieved a Disaster Response and Property Maintenance Certification through ICC. |
