Development Services Department has four divisions: Land Development, Plan Review and Field Services. The Plan Review Division has 72 authorized positions with the following three sections: Plan Review, Customer Advocate, and Training/Special Projects.
Plan Review Section
- Richard Chamberlin, PC, Development Services' Engineer, manages the Plan
Review Section. Mr. Chamberlin
oversees 38 employees and is responsible for ensuring customers' building plans
comply with the minimum requirements for the City adopted building codes and the
Unified Development Code and for facilitating the development process.
The Sub-sections of the Plan Review Section include:
Construction Trade (MEP) Review
Tree, Landscape and Irrigation Review
Customer Advocate Section
- A Development Services Manager oversees the Customer Advocate Section.
This position manages 29 employees and is responsible for ensuring you
have a great experience in conducting business with Development Services.
This Section includes the following services:
Commercial & Residential Building Plan In-take
Permits, Licenses, Certificates of Occupancy
Training & Special Projects
- James Flood, Development Services Business Administrator, oversees training
and special projects. Mr. Flood oversees
four employees and is responsible for the department's training, process
improvements through the use of technology, and other special projects. |
