2015 International Building Code (IBC) Significant Changes
The City of San Antonio and other area municipalities will adopt the 2015 building and fire codes. In preparation for the adoption, the San Antonio Building Codes Academy (SABC) is hosting two seminars on the significant changes in these codes. The seminars will focus on the 2015 International Fire Code (IFC) Significant Changes and the 2015 International Building Code (IBC) Significant Changes.These seminars will be presented by Terrell Stripling and Doug Thornburg who are experts in their respective disciplines.
Mr. Terrell Stripling will present the 2015 IFC Significant Changes seminars. This one-day course is worth 6 hours of continuing education credit (0.6 CEUs) on either September 30, 2014 or October 1, 2014. Check-in for each session will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the seminar beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Mr. Doug Thornburg will present the 2015 IBC Significant Changes seminars. This one-day course is worth 6 hours of continuing education credit (0.6 CEUs) on either October 2, 2014 or October 3, 2014. Check-in for each seminar will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the seminar beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Each seminar will be held in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center at 200 E. Market Street, San Antonio, TX 78205, Room 001B from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. each day. The registration fee is $150 per course. On-line registration will begin the week of July 28, 2014.
The deadline for a guaranteed reservation is 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. We will accept registrations up to the day of each event on a space-available basis, however we cannot guarantee a workbook for anyone registering after the deadline.

Requests for registration cancellation prior to 4:30 PM Wednesday, September 24, 2014, will receive a full refund. Cancellation requests received after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
